Lyncombe Residents Parking Scheme Consultation

Regular local road users: what this means for you

Dual use bays

There are a number of bays classed as 'dual use'. This means they are available for unlimited parking by residents' permit holders, or up to 3 hours by non-permit holders, on payment of a parking charge. This means you could pay to park if there is a dual use bay available, and your stay will be less than 3 hours.

If you usually park on the streets within the new zone for more than 3 hours, you will need to find an alternative place to park, such as a car park. You may also want to consider an alternative method of transport, such as the Park&Ride or local bus services.

You may receive a fine if you park in a residents' parking zone without a valid permit, or exceed a 3-hour stay in a dual use bay.
