Public consultation on traffic regulation orders
Summer/autumn 2021
There will be a further stage of consultation where people can formally object or comment on the proposed traffic restrictions that are required to bring the scheme into effect:
- Publishing Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) - the changes in regulations on roads affected by the scheme
- Publishing our proposal to relocate a signalised pedestrian crossing and the provision of continuous footways at a number of side road junctions
- Public consultation and summary report
- Decision on whether to confirm TROs, the relocated crossing and continuous footways
Construction
By March 2022
If the scheme proceeds, we expect to complete construction by March 2022
We will publish on our website detailed information on how we will manage the work
Monitoring
Ongoing
If the scheme goes ahead, we will undertake traffic flow counts and opinion surveys before and after project implementation.
