BACS
Funds paid by BACS can be used on the day of transfer. Funds are secure as money arrives automatically into your bank or building society account. Paying using BACS results in cheaper transaction costs, bank charges and stationery costs.
Procurement Cards
The authority is keen to promote the use of Procurement Cards as a payment method, bringing cost and efficiency savings to both the authority and the supplier.
The authority uses online marketplaces and all organisations should be able to receive orders and submit invoices to the authority electronically.
Potential suppliers will benefit as procurement cards improve cash flow, ease transactions and ensure a secure payment system.
