Policy topic focus
The Local Plan Partial Update (LPPU) updates a raft of policies addressing the following topics:
- The Climate and Ecological Emergency and its impact on policy governing sustainability in retrofitting and construction
- Housing and employment land supply
- HMOs
- The Green Recovery and a range of enterprise and renewal projects
- Transport policy requirements for new development proposals
Additional SPD consultations
In addition to this LPPU consultation, we are also proposing updates to three Supplementary Planning Documents, to run concurrently:
- Energy Efficiency, Retrofitting and Sustainable Construction SPD
- Transport and Developments SPD
- HMOs SPD
