What to do when someone dies

After the death of a loved one, you may feel that you have to make some very important decisions, when you are least able to cope with them. Register the death

Locally, you will need to book an appointment to register the death. Read our guide so you know what you'll need and what to expect. If you have any doubts or queries, call our Registrars team on 01225 47 72 34 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 3.45pm).
