Lighting we maintain
Our street lighting team maintains the following:
- Street lighting
- Illuminated street signs
- Illuminated/traffic bollards
- Central island columns (generally found between illuminated bollards)
- Flashing school crossing patrol signs (wig wags)
- Zebra crossings
You can also report a dark area you think needs investigating.
Report an emergency
Report an emergency lighting issue, such as an item of illuminated street furniture in a dangerous condition, call us on 01225 39 40 41 (choose option 9).

You will need to provide the following information:

- Your email address
- Location of the issue
- A summary of the issue
The majority of standard lighting issues will be reviewed within 5 working days. Any faults caused by cable damage or power failure may take longer to repair and require National Grid Electricity Distribution to get involved.
