Logging on to LibrariesWest

From the 15 July 2020, you will need your PIN to log on to the CloudLibrary (for e-Books). If you don’t know your PIN or have forgotten it, go to 'Log In' on the LibrariesWest website, and then select ‘Forgot my PIN’ and you should receive an automated email (as long as you have a current email address on your library record).

If you don’t receive one after checking your junk/spam folder, email, with your name and borrower number. If you receive an error message when you log on, your membership is probably incorrect or has expired, and so you will need to create a new account

Our brand new Mobile Library is bright, spacious and packed with a great range of books. As well as the stock on display, our new vehicle is equipped with technology which enables you to access council and partner services online. You can now browse and reserve from the entire catalogue of LibrariesWest, which offers millions of books and resources.

To find your local mobile library stop, please find your nearest location on the route timetable. Please note that the routes alternate on a fortnightly cycle.

Using the service

The Mobile Library offers all of the same services as an ordinary library branch. You can use your LibrariesWest membership card to borrow, reserve, renew and return items from any LibrariesWest branch. In turn, you can return any items you take out from the mobile library to any branch in the LibrariesWest area.

Our vehicles are fully accessible, with a lift facility. We offer books in many formats. If you have particular access needs, please discuss with the mobile librarian the outreach and access materials available from the Library Service.
