Many of the policies within the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy (JHWS) will benefit the wider community, and not specific groups.
However, given the intention to take action on health inequalities, we expect that some policies could directly or indirectly impact some groups more than others, such as access to healthcare for particular groups.
At this stage, we are exploring the possible priorities by asking for your views, so we are not yet able to specify who would be directly affected.
We will assess any identified priorities by conducting Equality Impact Assessments as we develop policies for the updated strategy.
