Planting Trees for climate and biodiversity

Online

B&NES Council

Join us for a fascinating discussion about the work underway across the community that is collectively increasing tree cover in Bath and North East Somerset and wider area.

This discussion will be a whistle-stop tour through examples of local activity contributing towards the important and ambitious area-wide targets for tree planting. We'll start at the strategy level, then move on to finding appropriate sites for tree planting and maintenance, funding, getting the community involved and the importance of growing saplings from local parent trees. All within the context of the climate and biodiversity benefits.

There will be an opportunity for the audience to submit questions to the panel.
