Making my home energy efficient

Online

B&NES Council

It's almost the time of year to start thinking about switching on the central heating. You might be keen to find ways to cut your energy bills, especially as lots of us have been spending more time at home, or perhaps you’ve been thinking you’d like to invest to reduce your carbon footprint. Whether you live in a privately rented home, are a landlord, or own your home, there is a range of support, advice, and funding available to help.

There will be plenty of time for your questions.

The panel will cover:

  • Energy at Home: B&NES Council's information service that provides advice to residents whether you rent or own your home, and helping you access grant funding to improve the comfort and energy performance of your home.
  • Future Proof: helping homeowners to understand what solutions are best suited to your home, lifestyle and budget, and maximise energy savings.
  • Lendology CIC: not-for-profit lender, using the Council partner funding, Lendology provide homeowners access to financial support to help with the cost of repairs and energy efficiency measures. The service offers low cost, responsible loans so that homeowners can afford to live in a safe, warm and comfortable home.
  • Solar Together West of England: a chance to hear about the solar panel group buying scheme launched in August. Get high quality Solar Panels at a competitive price, including installation. Register without obligations. Power your home through solar energy.
