Liveable neighbourhoods is an exciting programme of reassessing how we use street and public space, to improve quality of life and promote stronger local communities.
By reducing the dominance of motor traffic on public streets and spaces, the projects will cut carbon emissions and noise pollution, improve air quality, and make it easier for people to move around actively, on foot, by bike or wheeling. We're hoping to take forward projects which can provide lasting improvements.
These sessions will give you an opportunity to find out more about our current work on areas selected for Phase 1 of the project. The project team will be on hand to answer questions and discuss how the project will be involving the public at every stage of the design process.
