Claire will point out hidden aspects of buildings and the cityscape that you’ve probably walked past before, not noticing them for their carbon reduction or nature positive features. Explore the southern section of the city through the eyes of an experienced engineer who has a passion for Bath and its environmental sustainability.
Discover growing walls, where Bath's famous thermal spa water is being used for heating, areas being revitalised for nature, solar energy generation in the city centre and even a straw bale building.
Start and finish location: Outside west front door of Bath Abbey, Abbey Churchyard. Optional finish at Victoria Bridge, next to Cafe #1 in Riverside Bath. Guided element of walk finishes at Victoria Bridge, escorted walk back to the start point.
