Amy and Ella Meek founded their campaign and charity, Kids Against Plastic, in 2016. Their mission to make a difference started out as a home-school project and has since become an award-winning charity.
Amy and Ella have appeared in various online and print media in the UK and around the world including The Huffington Post, Glamour, and the Guardian, and in 2018 they did a TedX talk that has been viewed over 40,000 times. They won the first ever Green Champion award at the Pride of Britain ceremony in 2021.
