Use this page to identify land suitable for biodiversity net gain (BNG) off-setting and other opportunities for investment or partnership work to contribute to nature recovery across Bath and North East Somerset.

Nature site is the term that we use for land in Bath and North East Somerset that has the potential to support nature recovery. These sites are owned or leased by someone with an interest in nature recovery and have the potential to support our strategic priorities.

Our nature sites map shows sites across Bath and North East Somerset where landowners and or leaseholders have told us they are interested in managing the site more positively for nature.

If you can support a nature recovery project, provide advice or funding, or have a Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) requirement to deliver that could benefit one of these sites, email nature_recovery@bathnes.gov.uk with the reference number of the site you're interested in. We will then put you in contact with the landowner or leaseholder.

If you are a landowner or leaseholder interested in submitting a site for consideration, you can visit our Call for nature sites page to do this.
