Queen Square

A stately Georgian square, in a highly accessible Bath centre location, a prime spot for artisan markets and community events

In the bustling heart of the city sits Queen Square, an ideal spot for small-scale commercial events.

In the bustling heart of the city sits Queen Square, lined on all sides by Grade I listed buildings giving an elegant backdrop in every direction, framed by mature plane and ash trees. Its central feature is a tall obelisk dedicated to Queen Caroline, wife of George II, for whom the square is named.

This park sits alongside the main spine of the city and is perfectly placed to attract visitor footfall from the city centre. Parallel to Bath’s premier shopping location, Milsom Street, and close to parking facilities, Queen Square is one of the city’s most accessible central sites, for both tourists and locals.

With a size of exactly one acre, the square is currently home to artisan markets, boules tournaments and community events.

In order to protect the integrity of the trees, there is a 1.5 tonne weight limit for vehicles entering onto the square.
