We are responsible for planning our schools provision, to ensure that every child and young person in our area can get an education which is suitable for their needs. To do this, we monitor local population numbers and create long-term School Organisation Plans. These may include proposals to open, close, expand or amalgamate schools, to meet the expected need for pupil places.
