Coronavirus update - CIL regulations and payment arrangements
View details of how normal regulations may be affected
The government has amended the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations 2010 through the Community Infrastructure Levy (Coronavirus) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2020 to give authorities discretion, for a limited period, to defer CIL payments for small and medium sized developers (those with an annual turnover of less than £45 million) without having to impose additional costs on them. The regulations came into force on 22 July 2020. For a detailed explanation please visit the Gov.UK website.
You can pay your Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) online or in person at one of our One Stop Shops.
Paying your CIL
To pay your CIL by any method you will need your payment reference which can be found on your Demand Notice.
Payment can be made using most credit and debit cards. Unfortunately we are not able to accept American Express.
You can pay your CIL bill by calling the automated payments line on 0300 456 0632, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We do not accept American Express.
In person
You can pay your CIL at one of our One Stop Shops in Bath, Keynsham and Midsomer Norton. You will need your account, reference or invoice number with you.
Please note, self-service payment kiosks are available for cash, debit and credit card payments, but these machines are unable to accept £50 notes.
