Improvements are planned for four local High Streets in Bath; Twerton High Street, Mount Road local centre, Moorland Road and Weston High Street. We have already consulted on Twerton High Street and Mount Road, however, due to issues with the online form, we are now asking for your views on Mount Road. Concept designs for Moorland Road and Weston High Street will be consulted on in summer 2023.
Consultation overview
The Bath Local Centres High Street Improvement scheme is one part of a broader high streets renewal programme to support the recovery of high streets post-COVID, and improve their resilience in the face of great change in the retail sector.
The scheme will focus on the following local and district centres:
- Project 1 - Twerton High Street (local centre)
- Project 2 - Moorland Road (district centre)
- Project 3 - Weston High Street (local centre)
- Project 4 - Mount Road (local centre)
Who we are consulting
We are inviting local residents, businesses and anybody that uses Mount Road local centre to give us their views on the concept designs for this location.
