Making Every Contact Count

Making Every Contact Count (MECC) is about making the most of the contacts that we have with the people we meet every day. It is a behaviour change approach that encourages a different way of interacting with people to address health and wellbeing issues.

You will gain confidence in delivering very brief interventions, understand how and when to take the opportunity to talk about health and wellbeing, and develop skills that will help people to find what works for them in improving their health.

Free online courses are available for professionals and volunteers across B&NES, Swindon and Wiltshire. This free training is one three-hour online session and three optional e-learning modules for you to complete in your own time.
