You can only submit a report about a high hedge if ALL of the following are true.
The hedge is over 2m tall.
It is planted on someone else's property.
Part or all of the property affected by the hedge is residential (someone lives there).
You are the owner or occupier of the affected property.
The part of the hedge causing problems is made up of two or more evergreen or semi-evergreen trees or shrubs.
You have made efforts to resolve the problem with the owner of the hedge. We will ask you to supply evidence of this.

The fee for investigating a high hedge report is £400, which is payable whatever decision we ultimately make. Once you have submitted your report, we will be in touch within 5 working days to arrange payment.
