How is it used?

Assessing needs to ascertain eligibility for an Education Health and Care Plan and creating and using the Education Health and Care plan

Profiling and automated decision making

Not applicable.

GDPR condition relied upon for processing personal data:

Article 6.1 e - Exercise of official authority
Education Act 1966, Children and Families Act 2014. SEND Code of Practice 2014

Sharing of personal data with external recipients

We will only share information within the educational setting including schools, preschools, nurseries and FE colleges and providers, Educational Psychologists, Social Care, Health, ASD Outreach Service, Sensory Support Service, Enhance EHC Ltd (EHC Plan writers)

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

30 years.
