Our purpose is established by statute in the 2014 Care Act.

Sharing of personal data with external recipients

Results of financial assessments are shared with Virgin Care and social care providers who deliver services under contract on the Council’s behalf.

The personal data covered by this Privacy Notice is also shared as appropriate with the relevant care providers (residential homes for example).

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

The Council will hold client finance data for 6 years from the cessation of service.
