Sharing of personal data with external recipients

We may share the personal data that you have provided with third parties in order to carry out your eligibility and financial assessments, to manage your tenancy and account and to provide services and carry out our regulatory duties as effectively as we can.

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

Evidence provided for the purposes of identity or financial verification will only be retained for the period required to carry out such checks and will be destroyed immediately afterwards.

Records created for the purposes of administration, management or any other purposes related to the shared ownership property will be retained for up to 7 years after the cessation of involvement between parties.
