The purpose of processing

We are collecting this information to get a better understanding of the nature and scale of hate incidents in the Bath and North East Somerset area. We want to understand the issues young people are facing. This information will enable us to work in partnership with schools and local services to tackle hate related incidents and ensure appropriate support is available.

Data subjects

Young people in schools and colleges in Bath and North East Somerset, aged 11-25, who share their experiences of discrimination via our survey.

How is it used?

The data we collect will be used to make graphs to illustrate the discrimination faced by different age groups.

Collected data will only be shared with schools and services which support young people in Bath and North East Somerset, and council officers.

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

We will retain your personal data for up to 8 years before it is securely deleted.
