Our purpose is established by statute in The Children Acts.

Sharing of personal data with external recipients

The personal data we hold about foster parents and families is not shared outside the Council except where necessary to meet a specific legal requirement such as fraud and crime prevention or safeguarding.

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

The personal data will be held for 10 years from the date of termination of approval.
