The purpose of processing

The purpose of collecting the information is to gain as full a picture as possible of a young person’s contextual situation & provide an appropriate support plan.

Data subjects

Data subjects are teachers & pupils.

Personal data

We will collect (from teachers):
- Name
- Email address
We will collect (from students):
- Name
- Age
- Year Group
- School
- Any traumatic history where appropriate
- Mental & physical issues
- SEND status.
- Child Protection Status
- Any other information deemed relevant to their situation or provided, not otherwise stated.

How is it used?

We will use provided personal data to create a package of support for both the school and the young person.

Article 6.1 f - Legitimate interests

Article 9.2 g - Substantial public interest
Article 9.2 h - Provision of health or social care

Sharing of personal data with external recipients

Select data may be shared with the Police for contextual input, where a young person is known to the police.
Select data may be shared with social care services where a young person is known to them.

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

We will retain your data for no longer than 1 year.
