COVID-19 Community Support contact

The purpose of processing

The Council is working with its partners to support them in setting up a helpline that will direct people to local help and support within their communities during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We are collecting information about support in the community such as websites, social media, befriending services, community meals etc.

We only use the information provided in the contact form to share with partners. Partners will use the information to signpost residents who are in need of support.

Data subjects

The data subjects will be those who are offering a local service in their community.

Personal data

We will only collect the data contained in the contact form which will include:
Contact Name
Email address
Telephone Number
Website
Details of service provided
Geographical area covered

How is it used?

Staff and volunteers working in the Council and in partner organisations that are helping with the COVID-19 Pandemic will use the data to signpost local services to local residents who are in need of support.

Profiling and automated decision making

We will not use any form of profiling in collecting this data.

Sharing of personal data with external recipients

The information collected will be shared between the Council, the 3SG, Virgin Care and other partners to signpost individuals to local support during the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

We will retain the information for the duration of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
