The purpose of processing

We capture and process contact details from individuals or representatives of businesses such as suppliers, representatives of local businesses, journalists, and any other partners we interact with. This information is used to contact those groups about similar services or business information and to provide them with any updates, information, or support in relation to their interaction with the council.

We will collect information such as your email, telephone number and mailing address.

How is it used?

We will send you information about business services, training, forums, events etc via the method that you choose when you register with us to attend an event. We will also use the information to enable you attend events or take part in business activities, this may include providing guest lists, invoicing and, promotion.

Sharing of personal data with external recipients

We will not share your personal data with any third party except where legitimate interests apply and it is required to enable you to attend an event, a training session, forum, or similar activity.
We may share your contact details within the council where a statutory power enables us to do so.

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

We will retain your contact details until you withdraw from the contact list or after 2 years if we no longer have any contact with you.
