The purpose of processing

We process the information in order to carry out our aims and purposes: Bath Record Office exists to collect and preserve archives and local studies collections relating to B&NES and its people, to provide access to them and to promote them. It is also the permanent home of the Council’s archive and holds public records of a local nature.

Participants in special projects organised and /or managed by Bath Record Office; on occasions these projects may be carried out in conjunction with a third party.

Personal Data

We collect name and contact details.

How is it used?

We use this information to communicate and work with participants, and to enable the project to run effectively.

We may share your personal data with any partners involved in special projects, if necessary for the delivery of the project.

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

The personal data is kept for 5 years and then destroyed securely.
