Electric vehicle (EV) parking

PodPoint electric vehicle charger safety checks

PodPoint chargers will be unavailable until further notice at several locations in the area, due to safety checks.

The chargers will be switched off and bagged over.

Alternative chargers remain open and available for use.

Use this page to find out where you can park and charge your electric vehicle (EV), and how much it will cost.

One of the main charging networks in the West of England is Revive which has been set up by local councils, and has taken over from Source West. Charge points can be found in Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset. Our car parks and Park and Ride locations use Revive and PodPoint charging networks.

Charging your EV in a car park

We have three different types of EV chargers:

  • Chademo
  • CCS
  • Type 2

Type 2 is the most commonly used port. Chademo and CCS are both Direct Current (DC) and can’t be used at the same time so it’s one or the other. There are 3 ports but you can only use 2 at a time.
