Lyncombe RPZ: Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) consultation

Have your say

Why are we consulting?

We would like to know if you have any objections to the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) which we have prepared to create a Residents Parking Zone in the Lyncombe area of Bath.

We have previously done research on the availability of off-street parking for residents, and the demand for on-street parking in the Lyncombe area. We have consulted on the proposed zone boundary, types of parking restriction, hours of operation.

What we are consulting on

We have a legal obligation to log any objections to a TRO, and to consider these before any final decision is made to proceed with parking restrictions.

Who we are consulting

We are inviting local residents and businesses to give us their views on the proposals that will affect them the most. However, anyone is welcome to respond to this consultation and share their views.

How to respond to the consultation

To take part and give your views on our proposals, complete our online questionnaire. This should take no more than 2 minutes of your time.

Respond to the consultation online

If you have any specific queries about the proposals, please email lyncomberpz@bathnes.gov.uk or telephone Council Connect on 01225 39 40 41.

What happens next

We will use feedback from this TRO consultation to help to make the final decision about creating a residents parking zone.

View the project timeline for an overview of how we expect the project to progress.

Linked consultations

We also recently consulted with the public on proposals for parking permits which are aimed at improving air quality, and reducing the impact of traffic on the local highway network. These included vehicle emissions-based charging for residents' permits (so the cost of your permit would depend on how much air pollution your vehicle causes). Find out more about proposals on our web page.
