What we’re consulting on
We are asking for your comments, queries and concerns to help us to finalise the design of a care pathway for people with mental ill health.
Who we are consulting and why
We would like to hear from as many people as possible, with have different perspectives on the impact of how mental health care is organised and delivered. We recognise that your circumstances and experience will offer us valuable insight. In particular, we are interested in all of the following groups:
Group | Your unique perspective |
---|---|
Service users and people with lived experience | You know best how it feels to need care and support in our area, and these changes will affect services for people experiencing the same sorts of needs as you have experienced |
Unpaid carers, family and friends | You have experienced how the person you care for has been supported through their crises or periods of need, and can inform how this might feel from your point of view |
Support workers | You know how it feels to be working in an organisation and delivering care to people needing support, and will have different insights on how the pathway change might affect on your ability to do your work |
Mental health professionals | You know how it currently feels to be responsible for sourcing the right care and support for people, and can comment on how this pathway will affect your ability to do your work |
How to respond to the consultation
Please review the Care pathway overview diagram and description carefully, and use our online survey to give us your feedback. The survey includes an opportunity to request a meeting to discuss your thoughts, questions or concerns directly with a member of our team.
If you have any problems accessing this survey, need the materials in an alternative format, or would like support to take part in this consultation, please email us at specialist_commissioning@bathnes.gov.uk
